The video footage of an overspeeding motorcycle rider who hits an unaware e-bike driver crossing the road elicits reactions online.
Nowadays, road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world over the past few decades. It usually causes injuries and even death to the victims.
Reckless driving is one of the most common causes of vehicular accidents. The authorities are implementing stricter traffic policy to prevent such incidents but a lot of motorists continue to defy the traffic rules and regulations.
The Facebook page “Philippines CCTV & DASH CAM Spotted” has shared the video footage of an overspeeding motorcycle rider who hits an e-bike driver crossing the road. The video garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the video, the driver of e-bike with sidecar has decided to cross the road but he did not notice the approaching motorcycle. The rider drives a little bit fast and failed to use the brake on time.
The rider accidentally hits the e-bike along the road resulting into a powerful impact. The incident sent both drivers pummeling on the ground. The vehicles probably suffered major damage due to the collision.
The incident reportedly happened at San Joaquin, Palo Leyte.
