Kelley Day was asked about the Tom Rodriguez-Carla Abellana issue
Kapuso actor Tom Rodriguez has apologized to actress Kelley Day when she was accused of being the third party in his rumored breakup with Carla Abellana.
The start of 2022 is apparently not good for the Kapuso couple. Last January, rumors surfaced that Tom and Carla broke up, and allegedly, there was a third party on Tom’s part.
The blind items about this pointed to Kelley and she already denied this. Based on the article in Bandera, during a guesting on Kalurks episode of YouLol, hosted by Boobay and Pepita Curtis, the former beauty queen was once again asked about this issue.
“To set the record straight, nagkaroon ba talaga kayo ng relasyon ni Tom?” Boobay asked Kelley and she answered “Never.” She said that she had no idea where this intrigue came from.
Kelley and Tom worked together in The World Between Us series and they taped from May to October last year. The actress said that Tom Rodriguez is “super mabait” but she is not close to him. They did not have many scenes together.
Kelley also said that she was surprised that there were many people who asked her about the blind item. “I had this confirmed through reliable sources close to Tom and Carla, who confirmed it has nothing to do with me and it’s all speculation. ‘Yun talaga ang totoo,” the former beauty queen said.
Then, she shared that the actor reached out to her regarding this issue. “Actually, Tom messaged me and clarified that it had nothing to do with me,” she said. On the other hand, Kelley said that when she watched the video about the blind item, she understood why people assumed that it was her. However, she stressed that bashing online is never a good thing to do to other people.
