President Duterte Endorses Candidate Who Has Letter “O” on Its Name

President Duterte Will to Endorse the Candidate Whose Name Has Letter “O”

President Rodrigo Duterte allegedly will endorse the presidential candidate whose name contains the letter “O”.

In an interview with Politiko Tv, Communications Secretary Martin Andanar stated that Duterte has already announced the people he will support to succeed him as President of the Philippines. According to Andanar, Duterte would back candidates whose names begin with the letter “O.”

A total of ten contenders are contending for the country’s highest office. But, because practically every candidate’s name begins with the letter O, it’s still tough to figure out what Andanar is saying.

They are presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella, labor leader Leody de Guzman, Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, former national security adviser Norberto Gonzales, Senator Ping Lacson, Lanao del Sur businessman Faisal Mangomdato, former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr, Dr. Jose Montemayor Jr., Senator Manny Pacquiao, and Vice President Leni Robredo.

Meanwhile, Duterte has stated that he will not support the candidate whose name begins with the letter “U.” Pacquiao and de Guzman are the only two contenders with a U in their names. So yet, no one has stated who he will support as president.

“The President has repeatedly said that he does not support any presidential candidate unless there is a compelling reason at kung maalala niyo po dun sa interview na ginawa natin,” Andanar clarified.

So far, the names of Marcos and Moreno, who are said to have the president’s backing, are well-known. Duterte previously stated that he will be “neutral” in the 2022 elections. When “there will be a strong cause for me to go out and tell the people what it is,” he may pick a candidate to endorse.
