Isko Moreno to Walk Around Davao City for Campaign Amid Ban on Motorcades

Manila Mayor Isko Moreno said he is ready to walk around Davao City for his campaign after Sara Duterte bans motorcades in the city.

The presidential candidate is claimed to be ready to walk while campaigning in Davao City, following Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-legislation. Carpio’s It will be noted that Duterte imposed a ban on motorcades to reduce oil wasting, especially as the country’s love affair with the commodity continues.

“Pwede naman ako maglakad sa Davao,” Domagoso said in a chance interview here.

He went on to say that everyone was welcome in Manila and that all candidates may campaign there even if they didn’t have a permit. He also stated that if the price of oil continues to climb, he is willing to follow Inday Sara’s legislation in Manila.

So far, Moreno and Duterte’s planned complex has been discussed. Duterte has previously said that all political caravans and motorcades will be outlawed in Davao City.

The growing cost of gasoline, traffic bottlenecks, economic losses from the epidemic, and rising costs of essential necessities were all mentioned as grounds for forbidding these activities. Since the tensions between Russia and Ukraine erupted on February 24, oil prices have risen to above $100 per barrel throughout the world.

During his all-day tour in Tarlac, the presidential candidate is greeted warmly by Governor Susap Yap. That morning, Yap personally greeted Moreno on the steps of Tarlac’s Provincial Capitol, and later that evening, he appeared at a campaign rally to announce him to the crowd as the “future president.”

Later, Yap stated that she has not yet determined who she will support for the president. Nonetheless, Yap’s positive remarks about Moreno boosted the spirits of those in attendance.
