Aga Muhlach was asked about Arjo Atayde who will do a remake of his movie
Multi-awarded actor Aga Muhlach praised the acting skills of Arjo Atayde, one of the in-demand actors of his generation.
Arjo is fortunate to be given the opportunity to do a remake of Aga’s movie Sa Aking Mga Kamay which was released in 1996 under Star Cinema. The said classic movie was directed by Rory Quintos.
Based on the article in the Philippines Ultimate Showbiz Hub, Arjo’s movie will be titled The Rebirth of the Cattleya Killer. In a recent interview, Aga Muhlach was asked to react to this given opportunity to Arjo Atayde.
“Si Arjo is my inaanak. I’ve seen some of his shows na ginawa niya lalo na do’n sa Netflix and ang galing niya. Ang galing niyang umarte talaga, mahusay siya,” the seasoned actor praised the son of seasoned actress Sylvia Sanchez.
Aga added that he was told about this, he did not oppose it. “Sino naman ako para magsabing no, eh, hindi naman ako ang may-ari ng pelikulang yon but nakakatuwa naman na isang magaling na artista ang gumanap,” he said.
The seasoned actor also said that there is no need for anyone to ask permission from him regarding this movie. He said that he was informed about the remake and this made him happy.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Aga Muhlach denied the speculation that he is set to transfer to AMBS (Advanced Media Broadcasting System) of billionaire businessman Manny Villar. The speculations circulated because of the photos showing that Aga was with veteran TV host Willie Revillame who is being rumored to hold an executive position in the TV network of the wealthy businessman.
