Ping Lacson Reacts to Boying Remulla Claiming Kakampinks in Cavite are Paid
Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson reacts to the claim of Jesus Crispin ‘Boying’ Remulla against “Kakampinks” who are allegedly paid in Cavite.
The presidential contender reacts to Cavite 7th District Representative Boying Remulla’s claim that “some kids” who are activists and “trained by the NDF (National Democratic Front)” were purportedly present at a recent pink demonstration in Cavite. Those “Kakampinks,” according to Remulla, are being compensated.
“This is worrisome. A coalition government with the CPP/NPA/NDF (Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front) will set back the gains of the government’s efforts to end the country’s decades-old insurgency problem, “Lacson said in his retweet.

A day after the successful Cavite sortie of the Leni-Kiko tandem, Boying’s comments on a radio program went viral. Vice President Leni Robredo conducted a massive rally at the General Trias Sports Park in Cavite on Friday, with an estimated 47,000 people in attendance.
So, according to Remulla, if nothing is brought and nothing is given, the gathering will not be spoiled. Boying’s charges of a system of hauling, or paying individuals to smash the vice president’s rallies, have previously been refuted by Vice President Leni Robredo’s camp.
Lacson’s harsh comment, on the other hand, was lambasted by netizens as putting the volunteers and kids who participated in the march in jeopardy. Lacson, a Cavite native, is one of the main writers of the contentious Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020, which has been widely panned by progressive groups, former magistrates, politicians, and academics.
Lacson did not appear intimidated by the criticism, instead of slamming the critics with the “ancient saying” that the “truth hurts,” claiming that he only cares about his nation, which is still dealing with the world’s longest-running insurgency.
