Jinggoy Estrada and Jake Ejercito talked about their political stands
Senatorial candidate Jinggoy Estrada and his younger brother Jake Ejercito spoke about the difference that they have when it comes to the presidential bet they are supporting.
Jinggoy is running for senator under UniTeam led by former Senator Bongbong Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte while Jake is vocal in expressing his support for the presidential candidacy of Vice President Leni Robredo.
In a previous interview, Jake shared that having different political beliefs is not an issue within their family. Talking about this in a recent interview on comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz’s YouTube channel, Jake Ejercito reiterated the respect that they have for each other when it comes to political views. Sen. Jinggoy Estrada also has the same views about this.
“Opinyon niya yun, may sarili akong opinion, nagrerespetuhan kami,” the actor-politician said. Jake said that he is really grateful to his kuya for letting him have his own opinion and respecting it as well.
The younger son of former President Joseph Estrada said that there is no need to have a cancel culture and to fight over this kind of topic. Jinggoy added that he never convinced his younger brother to transfer to the presidential candidate that he is supporting.
Jake agreed with this by saying, “yeah.” “Basta alam niyo kung kanino ‘ko, pulang-pula, siya, rosas na rosas,” Jinggoy said. The senatorial candidate stressed that there is no need to fight because at the end of the day, “magsasama-sama rin naman tayo.”
Then, Jinggoy Estrada simply campaigned for his presidential candidate. “Lalong-lalo na pag manalo si Bongbong, magkakaisa na tayo lahat,” he said and laughed.
This made Ogie Diaz and Jake Ejercito laugh also. The comedian-talent manager told the actor that he should answer this to campaign for their presidential bet. Both Jake and Ogie are supporting VP Leni Robredo.
“So, kapag nanalo naman si Leni?” Ogie said and asked Jake who answered, “Angat buhay lahat.”
