ANGEL LOCSIN – Actress and philanthropist Angel Locsin asks her father about her marriage with Neil Arce and some advice about settling down.
Angelo Colmenares is the father of A-list actress Angel Locsin. And in a very rare chance which is also a tribute for his 95th birthday, he allowed his daughter to interview him and in the interview, he recalled his life before and the thoughts he has in mind when his “best daughter” finally settled down with Neil Arce.
In the video uploaded on the YT channel of Angel and Neil, the actress’ father expressed that he was happy when Neil told him his plans to marry her. He told Locsin, “Happy. First of all, I want you to be in good hands and nasa age ka na.”
Neil and Angel’s wedding was supposed to be a big one but given the health-related circumstances because of the pandemic, they were happy to settle and celebrate love with a chill, laidback, and spontaneous celebration. Both in pants, shirts, and sneakers, the two tied the knot with a handful of people as witnesses but also the closest to them.
They got married last August 2021. The two got engaged in 2019. In the vlog, Angel also asked her father the secret to having a happy marriage. And this is his answer, “Kailangan talaga to be happy in married life, take good care of each other day by day. Put Christ at the center of your life.”
To recall, the civil wedding ceremony of the two was followed by a reception held and set up in the backyard of their house. Their backyard was adorned with greenery, wood furniture, and a canopy of lights which made everything about their special day more romantic and cozy.
