Lady Not Wearing Face Mask Jailed After Discovered as Notorious Hold-upper
Police authorities arrested a lady who was discovered as a notorious hold-upper after being accosted for not wearing a face mask.
After being apprehended by police for not wearing a facemask in Binangonan, Rizal, a lady was sent to jail. This after, she was eventually identified as the perpetrator of a series of robberies in convenience stores in the same region, according to police.
According to a report received by Binangonan Chief of Police, with PLt. Col. Rodolfo G. Santiago, the two officers while patrolling approached a lady and instructed her to wear a facemask. The suspect, identified as Moneth Aguado Landicho, instead of following, bolted.
While the cops were following her, a guy named Marlo Jun Laureano screened her and stopped them from detaining her. After a brief chase, the police were able to catch Landicho.
A.38 caliber revolver with three rounds was discovered during the inquiry. Aside from that a piece of paper that read: “Bigay nyo pera walang maingay sisigaw kung ayaw mamatay automatic may mangyayari” was also confiscated.
It was here that it was discovered that Landicho was responsible for robberies at 7/11 convenience stores in Binangonan and other villages. In respect to the Comelec’s Omnibus Election Code, the female suspect faces accusations of breaching Art.151 of the RPC, RA 10591.
Meanwhile, Laureano, the man who stopped the cops from pursuing him, was charged with obstruction of justice. The Rizal PNP is urging Landicho’s victims to file a police report with the station.
