LENI ROBREDO – The presidential candidate and incumbent Vice President reacted to the “trolls” reaction to her “barefoot” photo after the debate.

Undeniably, the Filipino people are really engaging in the upcoming May 2022 Election. The grand rallies are held as the different presidential candidates visit cities and provinces to campaign gather the supporters of a certain bet and those who want to hear about their platforms before deciding who to vote.

Campaign rallies are happening everywhere across the nation now as it is only a few months away from the next election. The candidates are on a double-time to visit as many areas as they can and campaign to the people.

Aside from participating in grand rallies, many Filipino voters also await the debate events. These are venues that provide opportunities for the candidates to lay their platforms, speak on the specific issues thrown at them, and reveal their sides on global and national concerns.

Recently, many Filipinos watched the CNN Presidential Debate 2022. It gathered nine (9) presidential candidates in one venue. The only female candidate is Vice Pres. Leni Robredo.

Vice Pres. Robredo arrived in a pink suit and on high heels for the event. She stressed her platform which includes the fight against corruption. She wants the disclosure of government deals to the public. A lot of people were impressed by the performance of the Vice President during the debate.

The CNN Debate took three (3) hours to finish. After the event, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo decided to take off her heels and walk barefoot. It caught the attention of the people and gathered different reactions. A lot of women expressed that they can relate to it while others claimed that it is a PR stunt.

Vice Pres. Leni Robredo reacted to the alleged reaction of “trolls” who claimed that it was a PR stunt. She posted a photo on Facebook and it was taken in 2016 when she also took off her heels after an event.
