Following a revelation that several police officers, including officers, were buried in debt as a result of the stated online game, the PNP Chief issued an order. According to him, as a result of this, police officers are driven to engage in illicit acts in order to pay off their obligations.

“Huwag kayo magalit sa amin. Bilang ama kami po ay naninigurado na hindi kayo mapahamak. Akala niyo ah laro laro lang ito. Eventually what, magkakautang kayo ng P2 million, P3 million at ano gagawin? Manghoholdap?,” Carlos said.

“Iyan ay isang adiksyon. Kung gusto mo iyan, sisiguraduhin naming hihinto ka. Mula ngayon, lahat ng field offices, commanders, units, lahat ng cell phone at iba pang gadgets na maaaring gamitin. That is an instruction already down the line to the police station,” Carlos added.

A police corporal from Oriental MIndoro was apprehended stealing from a hardware store in Gloria town on February 18. He’s already been prosecuted criminally, and he’s now facing removal from the military.

A similar incident occurred in Batangas, when a police officer from Laguna was accused of stealing from a petrol station. The two officers are addicted to the online cockfight, according to the inquiry.

According to Carlos, multiple police officers are actively conducting investigations into online cock addiction. There would be quick relief for policemen and PNCOs (Police Non-Commissioned Officers). He went on to say that he had already provided orders.

At least three police regional directors, according to Carlos, have begun to lead the way in scrutinizing their respective personnel’s cellular phones. He then cautioned all police personnel against betting on online cockfighting, noting that police teams are already responding to tips from worried residents regarding policemen hooked to online cockfighting.
