Police Authorities Arrest Alleged Female Drug Supplier in Pasay City
PASAY CITY – An alleged female drug supplier has been arrested by the authorities in Pasay City during a buy-bust operation.
Nowadays, illegal drug has been one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all around the world. It causes various types of crimes and result to increasing rate of criminality in the country.
Duterte administration and the police authorities have been implementing stricter rules and regulations in the country to reduce the rate of criminality. However, criminals were able to find a way to perform their illegal activities behind the knowledge of the authorities.
Pasay City Police arrested a woman at a house in Apelo Cruz Street, Barangay 157 during a buy-bust operation. The female suspect has been nabbed after selling illegal drugs to a poseur-buyer.
The authorities recover two small sachets of suspected illegal drugs and a plastic containing crystal drugs weighing 61 grams. The illegal drugs is worth P414, 800, according to the police officers.
According to Pasay Chief Police Col. Cesar Paday-Os, it was the fourth drug-related operation they have launched in the area. “Three operations conducted sa area. So siya ‘yung natumbok natin na source. So area natin is Apello,” Paday-Os said.
The police head said that they will continue to investigate the main supplier of the suspect. The woman has also refused to give a statement regarding the incident. The latter will face charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
