The Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (IMEG) in Calabarzon got a tip regarding Casaas driving a stolen automobile, according to the report. As a result, they kept an eye on it and carried out a raid on the suspect.

Casaas was apprehended driving a silver Toyota Innova along Chipeco Avenue, Barangay Halang, Calamba City at 7:20 p.m. with the support of the PNP Highway Patrol Group (HPG) based on the report of the police. Casaas did not provide any paperwork to verify that the automobile he was driving was legitimate, according to IMEG commander Brig. Gen. Oliver A Enmodias.

In addition, Jeanet Gisalan of Manila was revealed to be the owner of the Innova. The police said that in 2012, Gisalan allegedly reported his automobile stolen in Quezon City’s Barangay South Triangle.

Even the PBI-531 license plate that was attached to the Innova originated from another vehicle, a black Ford Focus Hatchback. As a result, Casaas’ firearm was seized while the inquiry was ongoing.
