Aljur Abrenica went to Leyte with AJ Raval due to this
Actor Aljur Abrenica shared the story behind his trip to Leyte with rumored girlfriend showbiz newbie AJ Raval.
It has been months since rumors linking Aljur and AJ surfaced. After the actor’s breakup with estranged wife Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla, he was spotted with AJ and so this sparked speculations that the latter was the third party.
Just recently, Aljur and AJ were once again spotted together in Leyte and it was on Valentine’s Day. With this, netizens speculated that it was a romantic trip. However, based on the article in PEP, clarified the real reason why they were together in the said province.
“We were invited sa mga kooperatiba, sa mga cooperatives sa mga power plants dun, sa DORELCO sa may Leyte, oo. Kasi meron silang ipinaglalaban, lahat naman sila may ipinaglalaban.” Aljur Abrenica said.
He added that they are blessed of the said inauguration of the new radio station there. The actor also clarified that the post of Haiyan Hotel and Resort sparked wrong ideas because it suggested that they spent several days there.
However, Aljur clarified that they did not stay in the said hotel. “Yung hotel na yun, nagulat ako, kumain lang kami dun ta’s nagbihis lang to freshen up, para sa show. Siyempre, Valentine’s, nagkataon lang, tapos picture, tapos ang dating parang ilang araw kami dun,” the actor said.
Aljur reiterated that it was really work and that they were there for the cooperatives. Meanwhile, the actor also shared details about his upcoming movie Mamasapano which is based on the tragic event that happened to the 44 members of the Philippine National Police-Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) who died on January 25, 2015.
Aljur Abrenica said that this movie was challenging for him. “Kasi hindi biro yung pinagdaanan at sinapit nila dun sa Mamasapano dahil binuwis nila yung buhay nila, para sa bayan nila. Tapos ang sinapit nila, wala pang hustiya,” he said.
