What’s the story behind this intriguing Twitter post of Chie Filomeno?
Kapamilya actress Chie Filomeno shared an intriguing tweet with the phrase “karma izzzz real” and this garnered speculation that it was for actress Dawn Chang.
To recall, Chie and Dawn had issues in the past when they were still together in the all-girl dance group Girl Trendz. Chie admitted in an interview that there was an “iringan” between her and Dawn.
Just recently, Dawn Chang became a trending topic on social media because of the fierce words she said against actress-host Toni Gonzaga after the latter hosted the proclamation rally of the UniTeam.
Despite her “brave” act of fighting for what she believes is right, Dawn received bashing. Some netizens questioned her right or credibility to say those words against Toni, who entered and made a name in showbiz before her.
In a recent Twitter post of Chie Filomeno, netizens can’t help but think that this was addressed to Dawn Chang. “Funny how you’re so mad someone is ruining your reputation, yet that’s what you’ve been doing to me for the longest time,” Chie wrote in her February 17 tweet.
Following this, she talked about karma. “Do not do unto others what you do not want others do unto you. Edi na back to you ka diba? Because karma izzzz real. Shhh na nga ako (face savoring delicious food, face with tears of joy emojis) kbye.”
Some netizens who are following the actress commented with speculation that this post was intended for Dawn.
Meanwhile, Dawn Chang also received fiery words from veteran entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin who accused her of getting intimate with the bosses of ABS-CBN just to boost her career in showbiz.
