The Vivo iQOO U5 was announced on December 24, 2021, and released on January 1, 2022. The 5G-ready smartphone is offered in three colors – Gray, White, and Aurora. It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery + fast charging 18W.
Body & Display:
The dimension of the iQOO U5 is 164 x 75.8 x 8.3 mm and weighs 185 grams. It comes with a screen size of 6.58 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Platform:
The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SM6375 Snapdragon 695 5G (6 nm) Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 619. It runs on the Android 12 + Origin OS Ocean operating system.
The device comes in variants such as 128GB + 4GB RAM, 128GB + 6GB RAM, and 128GB + 8GB RAM. It also supports expandable microSD storage up to 256GB.
Main Camera:
Vivo iQOO U5 sports a dual-camera setup at the back comprising of a 50-megapixel (wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) sensor. It features LED flash, HDR, and panorama.
Selfie Camera:
For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features an 8-megapixel (wide) camera. It also features HDR.
