Diether Ocampo Involved in Car Accident in Makati City
DIETHER OCAMPO – The actor was rushed to the hospital after his car crashed with a garbage truck in Makati City.
Accidents can happen anytime and anywhere most especially on the road thus everyone is reminded to be extra careful. There might be a lot of risks in driving at night as there may be some areas where street lights are not present or not working.
There were several instances in the past when car collisions took place. Some of the incidents left the people involved unharmed while others left them with injuries or, worst, death. Some of these accidents involved popular individuals in certain fields.
Recently, another popular personality in the Philippines got involved in a car crash. The Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) of actor Diether Ocampo crashed with a garbage truck in Makati.
Based on a post on DZRH News, Diether Ocampo was aboard his Ford Explorer along the Osmeña Highway when it hit the garbage truck that was parked. The incident took place around 12:40 a.m.
Based on the post, no one was injured among the garbage collectors when the SUV of the actor hit their truck. The actor was rushed to Makati Medical Center for treatment.
As of this writing, there are still no details regarding the condition of Diether. More updates may be posted soon.
Diether Ocampo is a Filipino actor, model, singer, and military officer. He was born and was raised in Bacoor, Cavite. He started his showbiz career as a dancer under the ABS-CBN Network until acting projects were offered to him and he became one of the sought-after leading men in the Kapamilya network. He took a short break from showbiz prior to the year 2017 but he eventually retired and is now focusing on other activities. He is a Lieutenant Commander of the Philippine Coast Guard.
