Life of Diether Ocampo Now Away from Showbiz’s Limelight

DIETHER OCAMPO – Here is the life of the actor now away from the limelight of the Philippine showbiz industry.

One of the excellent actors who are currently inactive in the Philippine showbiz industry is Diether Ocampo. More commonly called as ‘Diet’ in showbiz, he is an actor, model, and singer.

Diet has done a lot of hit projects in the past. Among those he did are the films Nasaan Ka Man, Dahil Mahal na Mahal Kita, Because of You, and Ano Bang Meron Ka.

One of the latest projects of Diether before he became inactive in showbiz was the ABS-CBN primetime fantasy television series Bagani. It was actually his comeback project in the Philippine TV in 2018.

Currently, amid the showbiz hiatus of the actor, many of his fans and supporters are surely wondering as to where he is up to now. He has lived a private life away from showbiz.

Based on a report on Pep, with regards to the life of Diether Ocampo now away from showbiz, he has joined the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA). He is now a Lieutenant Commander (LCDR) of the PCGA.

Diet has previously revealed his advocacy regarding maritime life. He wanted to know about the life of seafarers who have to leave their families behind and sail. They get to experience a lot of struggles in the waters while being away from their loved ones and their safety is always at risk.

Before Diether Ocampo became a lieutenant commander of the PCGA, he has joined a lot of training with the Coast Guard. It includes the training exercise held in Taguig in March 2019.

According to the report, aside from the training he attended, Diet has also joined programs of the Coast Guard. One of which is the 1st Multi-District Convention held at The Heritage Hotel Manila in Pasay City last February 2019.

Reportedly, it was last June 2019 when Diether successfully finished his seafarer’s training. It was held at the Philippine Center for Advanced Maritime Simulation and Training.
