LENI ROBREDO – The Vice President and 2022 presidential aspirant plans to increase the education budget if she wins in the next election.

The only female candidate among the ten (10) candidates for president in the Election 2022 is Vice Pres. Robredo. She is running as an independent candidate and she tapped Senator Kiko Pangilinan, the vice-presidential bet of Liberal Party, as her running-mate.

Robredo is vocal about her desire to provide safe jobs for the Filipinos should she win the next election. She is also pushing for an honest government that the people can trust. The Vice President also plans the expansion of the programs of her office in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Recently, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo was also asked about her plans to improve the quality of education in the Philippines. The education field is undeniably one of those greatly affected by the current situation.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Vice Pres. Robredo revealed her plan to increase the budget for education if she wins president in the Election 2022. She is also planning the administration of a national assessment program.

According to the report, the Vice President stressed that the education budget in the country is really far from the budget allotted by other nations for the education of the students. She also believes that data gathering must be done so the decision-making in improving education in the country would be effective.

Vice Pres. Robredo stressed that it is important to diagnose where the “mislearning” of the students are happening so remediation programs can be crafted. According to her, the quality of primary and secondary education must be given attention so a high school graduate is really equipped for work.
