Lana Condor Shares Adorable Video of Hers Reacting To The Surprise Proposal
LANA CONDOR – Vietnamese-born American actress Lana Condor is now engaged to her longtime boyfriend Anthony De La Torre. She also shared a candid video of her reacting to the surprise proposal.
American actress Lana Condor gained global recognition after playing the role of Lara Jean Covey in the Netflix film series “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.” Lots of Pinoys fell in love with her character along with her co-star Noah Centineo.
They were supposed to visit the country in 2020 but it was canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Because of that, many of the fans of the onscreen couple were saddened. In an interview with PUSH, the actress said that she’s still hopeful that she could visit the Philippines.
Lana Condor recently announced her engagement to her long-time boyfriend, actor, and musician Anthony De La Torre. He was part of films like ‘Johnny Gruesome’ and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.’
On Friday, January 28, the actress shared adorable post-proposal photos on her Instagram account. She also uploaded a video of her in happy tears as she admired her engagement ring.
“Saying YES was the easiest decision I’ve ever made. I consider myself the absolute luckiest woman alive to live in your sphere…”
“Aside from my father, without a doubt, you are the greatest man in the world. Emmy & Timmy (their pet dogs) said it’s about time mommy & daddy got engaged!!!” she wrote.

Lana Condor also gushed over the fact that her beau paid tribute to her Asian Heritage. The 24-year-old actress was born in Vietnam. She praised the 28-year-old actor for working with the “incredible” Vietnamese company Paris Jewellers to help design the ring. She said it was the “most stunning piece” she’s ever seen. To her, Anthony’s gesture was a “testament to just how truly thoughtful he always is.”
“I cannot wait to be your wife, baby. I love you a million times over,” she said.
Anthony De La Torre also announced their engagement on social media, saying “That moment when you ask your best friend to be by your side forever…. I’ve wanted to do this for six years. The easiest decision I’ve ever made was to ask this angel to be my wife.”
