Lana Condor wants to have a taste of this Filipino food
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before star Lana Condor expressed her excitement to eat this particular Filipino food.
Lana plays the role of Lara Jean Covey in the said movie franchise based on the best-selling books of Jenny Han. Many Filipino fans fell in love with her character along with her leading man Peter Kavinsky played by Noah Centineo.
Lana and Noah are supposed to be visiting the country to spend the heart’s day with their Pinoy fans. However the meet and greet event was postponed due to the novel coronavirus outbreak.
Because of that cancellation, many fans of the onscreen couple were saddened. Apparently, this also saddened Lana Condor. In an interview with Philippine Ultimate Showbiz Hub, she said that she is still hopeful that she could visit the Philippines.
“Gosh. I sure hope so. I mean, I’m really, really hopeful for that — particularly for the third [installment]. Like I would love to be able to come,” the young actress said. She added that she is also saddened by the fact that she could not have a taste yet of the Filipino food she really wants to eat, the spring roll or lumpia.
“It really, really sucks. Like when I heard it, I was just like ‘No this can’t be’. But yeah, Oh my God definitely. I would love to come. And I was so excited you guys because I was gonna eat so much lumpia you don’t understand. I would definitely do that,” Lana said.
The actress also said in the interview, “And so I was like excited to meet you guys and to eat lumpia — so my heart was broken.” However, Lana Condor believes that she would soon meet her Filipino fans.
