Is it true that Enchong Dee is hiding right now because of the cyber libel case against him?
Speculations surfaced that actor Enchong Dee is nowhere to be found as authorities tried to serve the warrant of arrest against him.
This is in line with the cyber libel case that DUMPER Representative Claudine Bautista-Lim filed against him. To recall, following the circulation of Bautista-Lim’s wedding photos on social media, netizens and celebrities criticized her for her so-called “lavish” wedding in Balesin wearing a Michael Cinco gown.
Among the celebrities who attacked the congresswoman representing the drivers were Enchong Dee, Agot Isidro, Pokwang, and Ogie Diaz. However, the only case that pushed through was the one that was against Enchong. The rest were dismissed.
The prosecutors said that the Twitter post of the actor against the congresswoman had “malicious intent” and it was prompted bashings and criticisms. Despite the apology that the actor posted on his Twitter account, the prosecutors reasoned out that the damage has been done.
From the first time news about this surfaced until now, Enchong has remained silent. Based on a report from Manila Bulletin, a supposed warrant of arrest against the actor was already issued.
However, it was said that when authorities went to the residence of the actor in Cubao, Quezon City last Wednesday, he was not there. The neighbors of Enchong supposedly told the authorities that the actor was not able to go home there for quite some time.
In a recent episode of Cristy Fermin’s showbiz talk show, this was one of the topics that she discussed with co-host Romel Chika. The veteran showbiz writer said that the house in Cubao was not actually the residence of Enchong Dee. She said that it was just like a “dormitory” or a “boarding house”.
Cristy also advised to face this problem. “Huwag mong paliitin ang mundo mo, magpiyansa ka,” she said.
What can you say about this?
