Darren Espanto Reveals Past Relationships
DARREN ESPANTO – Kapamilya singer Darren Espanto opened up about his personal life in an interview with news anchor Bernadette Sembrano.
Darren Espanto is a Fil-Canadian singer. He rose to fame after joining ABS-CBN’s reality singing television competition The Voice Kids Philippines. He’s known for his numerous cover songs such as ‘Chandelier.’
In a previous article, the singer shared that his parents have been very supportive of his romantic life. He said, “It’s part of growing up din. My parents are supportive naman as long as alam nilang matino ‘yung kino-court kung babae.”
Darren Espanto has been romantically linked with Cassy Legaspi and Jayda. Last June, his dad revealed that he got excited when Cassy greeted him on his birthday.
The 20-year-old singer once again opened about his personal life in an interview with Kapamilya broadcast journalist Bernadette Sembrano for her Youtube vlog. He admitted to Bernadette that he had a girlfriend but when she asked if she’s still his GF, Darren said: “No. Wala po ako ngayon.”

Darren Espanto was asked if his ex was from showbusiness, he answered: “I feel like I don’t have to reveal it for the fans to kind of know who my past was.”
The singer admitted that the breakup was painful for him. He said, “Breakups are hard pero, of course, there will be hard feelings at first pero as you move on, nagiging civil kayo and eventually like ‘yung iba naging kaibigan ko.” He said he’s not courting anyone right now.

In Robi Domingo’s Youtube vlog last year, Darren admitted that he is afraid of commitment because he’s still you and still got a lot to learn about relationships. “I will get to the point na I’m mature enough to commit to one person and to really ibuhos talaga ang sarili ko sa kanya,” he said.
