The Cubot P40 was officially announced on May 18, 2020, and released in June 2020. The smartphone is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 4200 mAh battery. It is available in three colors: Green, Blue, and Black.
Body & Display:
The dimension of the smartphone is 155 x 73 x 10 mm and weighs 184 grams. The material used in building the device includes plastic. It comes in a 6.2 inches screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that provides 720 x 1520 pixels resolution.
Platform:
Cubot P40 is powered by Mediatek MT6761 Helio A22 (12 nm) processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is PowerVR GE8320. It runs on the Android 10 operating system.
The device is integrated with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage option can be expanded up to 128GB using an extra memory card via a dedicated card slot.
Main Camera:
The smartphone is packed with a quad-camera on the rear side: 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 2-megapixel and 0.3-megapixel. It features autofocus, continuous shooting, digital zoom, geotagging, panorama, HDR, touch focus, and face detection.
Selfie Camera:
For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features a 20-megapixel camera. It also features AI faceID and face beautification.
Connectivity options on the phone include MicroUSB Type-C 2.0, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, and FM radio. The phone’s sensors include FaceID, compass, proximity, and an accelerometer.
