Dingdong Dantes Warns Public Against Fake Linkedin Account with His Name
Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes has warned the public against the fake Linkedin account that allegedly using his name.
Dingdong Dantes, the GMA Kapuso Primetime King, encouraged the public to report a proliferating bogus Linkedin account named after him on Instagram. He posted a screenshot of the phony account, as well as his warning and appeal, to his Instagram story.
“It has come to my attention that a fake Jose Sixto Dantes III @linkedin account with my photo, name and credentials, has been actively responding to messages and scheduling online and on-site meetings with individuals on my behalf,” he said.
“Please be informed that the profile Jose Sixto Dantes III with over 400 connections on @linkedin is not me nor is it being handled by anyone I know,” He added. “I am asking for your help to report the said account and to redirect your concerns to [email protected] and or/[email protected], if there are any.”

Linkedin is an online service for professional networking and career advancement that is based in the United States. It has websites and mobile apps. It allows job searchers to upload their curriculum vitae and employers to post openings in their companies or businesses.
Isko Moreno Domagoso, the mayor of Manila, wants social media corporations to be held accountable for enabling incorrect information and fake news to spread on their platforms, which harms both public officials and regular individuals. Charges should be brought against these social media outlets, according to Moreno.
He said that it has done nothing to control malicious and harmful digital media messages, which he claims have caused confusion due to misinformation and disinformation that endangers the general public’s welfare. In a statement issued to media on Tuesday, Moreno claimed to have been the subject of election-related digital misinformation.
