BPO Employee Shot by Holdupper in Tondo for Resisting

A Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) employee was shot by a holdupper for allegedly resisting and trying to fight him in Tondo, Manila.

According to the report of GMA News, a BPO employee was shot by a robber on a street in Tondo, Manila. According to the allegation, the employee was going down Juan Luna Street on his way home when he was approached by a guy who brandished a pistol at him.

The victim and the suspect continued to fight until the victim was shot and the suspect snatched his bag, according to CCTV evidence. He shot the victim while grappling and fled on his motorbike, according to Manila Police District Station 2 commander Police Lieutenant Colonel Harry Lorenzo III.

The suspect was found at Maypajo, Caloocan, when police performed a follow-up operation, based on the report. The suspect, according to the police, is a well-known holdaper who has already been a victim in Valenzuela.

The suspect is also a member of the sputnik gang and has a warrant out for his arrest in the robbery and holdup case, said police. The suspect was found with a.38 caliber pistol, ammo, and the victim’s smartphone.

The suspect did not make a statement, but he did confess that he was the one who was recorded on camera during the incident. Meanwhile, the sufferer is healing and is in stable condition at the hospital.
