Anthony Taberna talked about live presidential interviews on DZRH
News personality Anthony Taberna, also known as Ka Tunying, said that there was no reply coming from the camp of Vice President Leni Robredo to the presidential interview invitation from DZRH.
As Election Day is nearing, media entities are starting to cater interviews with presidential aspirants with the main goal of presenting to the people the politicians who they think deserve their vote.
In a recent Facebook Live, Ka Tunying shared that DZRH will also hold a series of interviews with the presidential candidates. He said that Senators Manny and Ping Lacson already confirmed, as well as former Senator Bongbong Marcos.
Anthony Taberna added that Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has not yet confirmed but most likely he will say yes. On the other hand, when it comes to the Vice President, the news personality said that there was no reply.
“Ibig ba sabihin noon eh siya eh duwag o takot o may tinatago? Hindi po, hindi po ganoon,” Ka Tunying said. He added that this means the Vice President has a reason and this should be respected.
Taberna also pointed that this should not be the pattern to interpret that choice of a certain candidate. “Kapaag hindi dumating ang isang kandidato sa isang imbitasyon ng isang media entity, sasabihing ‘duwag’, ‘takoy’, etc,” he said.
To recall, BBM turned down the invitation coming from GMA for Jessica Soho’s Presidential Interviews but he is part of the interview that will be hosted by King of Talk Boy Abunda.
On January 25, at 4 PM, the presidential aspirant who will be interviewed is Bongbong Marcos. The schedule on January 28 was allotted to Senator Ping Lacson and the next day is for Senator Manny Pacquiao. Simultaneously, Taberna said that it will be aired on TV, radio, and social media.
