Chito Miranda shares how he values his family

Parokya Ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda shared how his family gave him a deeper purpose in life which he did not feel before.

Being one of the iconic bands of the 90s and its popularity is still being treasured by many fans until now, Chito indeed has a great life. However, he did not realize back then that life can still be more amazing than what he knew.

“Before, it was just me, and my band, and that was it…and that “purpose” grew old fast once I had everything I wanted. Parang wala na akong goal sa mundo kasi nakuha ko na lahat ng gusto ko sa buhay,” the singer-songwriter said in his recent Instagram post.

The time came when he became a family man and this shifted his priorities.  “I suddenly had something bigger, and more important than myself,” Chito Miranda realized.

When this happened, he said that everything went smoothly. It is because the only focus that he has was on the things that are best for his family. He said that his primary concern was focused on the well-being and happiness of the people he loves and this makes him happy as well.

I’m not saying that having a family is the only way to have a purpose in life…but I guess having something bigger and more important than yourself, helps,” he shared.

Chito Miranda also said that finding happiness is the most important thing in life and he found this happiness in his family. The band vocalist featured his family photo in this post. Once again, just like the one that his wife Neri Miranda posted, this received questions about the girl who was with them in the photo. Chito answered a netizen who asked that the girl is their “anak”.
