Cebu Pacific Announces More Canceled Flights Amid Staff Shortage

FLIGHT ADVISORY – Cebu Pacific announced more cancelled flights from January 14-17, 2022 amid staff shortage.

On Thursday (January 13, 2022), Cebu Pacific declared the suspension of more flights as the surging cases of the coronavirus disease in the country affect their staff. The airline suffers from staff shortage due to the pandemic.

The airline company reported that some of its employees were under home quarantine and some of them are experiencing sicknesses. The illness and the pandemic affect the firm’s workforce.

Earlier, the company has also reduced its flights from 16 times weekly between Manila and Bacolod to seven times per week due to the heightened restrictions amid COVID-19.

CebPac also informed the passengers that they can fund the cost of the ticket, rebook their flights or put their tickets’ monetary equivalent in a travel fund. The management has also asked the public for understanding and cooperation amid the pandemic.
