Update on Starmall Alabang Fire Incident

STARMALL ALABANG – The shopping mall in Muntinlupa City caught a massive fire that reached Task Force Alpha.

One of the riskiest incidents that could happen whether in a private or public establishment is fire. It can lead not only to damages in structures but as well as loss of lives. Fire authorities are risking their lives to put out such incidents.

Recently, another fire incident involving a shopping mall took place in Muntinlupa City. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Starmall Alabang caught massive fire that kept blazing for hours.

According to the report, it was at 3:00 a.m. today, January 8, 2022, when the fire that hit Starmall Alabang started. It continued to blaze that it reached Task Force Alpha by 7:46 a.m. The said level requires the response of several firetrucks. It follows the 5th alarm.

The massive fire was visible from the Skyway and the South Luzon Expressway. The first alarm was raised at 4:03 a.m. It reached the third alarm at 4:49 a.m. and the cause was yet to be determined.

Based on a post of Concept News Central on Twitter, the fire started on the 2nd floor of the building. It spread to All Homes Department Store on the ground floor. Currently, there are no reports of deaths caused by the incident.

An investigation of the incident is done by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Muntinlupa while the fire authorities are trying to put out the fire. Currently, the motorists are advised to find other routes while the fire incident is ongoing.

The said shopping mall is situated in Alabang-Muntinlupa junction. It has five (5) levels and a lot of shoppers love the bargain finds sold inside the public establishment. It is also where one of the biggest terminals in the South can be found.
