Andi Eigenmann shared how they are now after typhoon Odette
Celebrity vlogger Andi Eigenmann shared an update on their situation now after the typhoon Odette hit Siargao last December.
Andi, her partner Philmar Alipayo, and their three kids are living in the surfing capital of the Philippines for many years now. The former actress would always boast about the beauty of the island through her social media posts and her vlogs.
It is obvious that aside from finding her partner there, she also fell in love with the place. However, her current hometown went through a devastating time before the year 2021 ended. Siargao is one of the greatly affected areas in the country.
In her recent Instagram post, Andi Eigenmann shared an update. “Been having a tough time assessing how I feel but I realise, nevermind that for now because after all of life’s uncertainty, there’s still so much to be grateful for,” she said.
With what happened to the island after the typhoon, Andi and her family had to stay somewhere else. “My kids know for sure this is not “home”, but having both of us around somehow makes everything better,” the celebrity vlogger said adding that Philmar had to go back to Siargao soon. It is because he is helping the ongoing relief operations on the island.
“I am more than happy to focus on our children for the both of us knowing that he is able to help better from there,” Andi said. She also expressed gratitude to those who have watched her recent vlogs because this will help rebuild many homes in Siargao.
Meanwhile, days before the typhoon Odette, Andi Eigenmann even showed the beauty of Siargao Island she also shared a video after it was destroyed by the strong typhoon.
