VP Leni Robredo Lashes Basher Allegedly Believing to Fake News
Vice president Leni Robredo slammed a basher on her social media account after allegedly recalling her old video and for believing fake news.
One of the individuals who invaded and criticized her on her Facebook live was blasted by the presidential candidate. The basher is claiming that her calculation of how much rice Filipinos consume is incorrect. According to her, the basher believes much too much in bogus news.
“Si Quizon Ren, nako naniniwala ‘to sa fake news ayan, 40 times 4, Ma’am is 1,600. Nako Quizon Ren, naniniwala ka sa fake news, spliced po ‘yung videong ‘yon. Forty times four times 10 is equal to 1,600,” Robredo explained.

Non-supporters of Robredo allegedly threw stones at her after watching a video in which she stated exactly the sentence “40 times four.” But in that spliced video, it loses context where he previously mentioned that 10 kilograms is anticipated to be consumed by a Filipino household every week.
“Ang estimate nila, 10 kilos per week per Filipino family. So kung 10 pesos per week, 10 kilos I mean, per week per Filipino family ano na ‘yon? ‘Di ba 40, 40 a week na kaagad. Sa isang buwan 40 times four edi 1,600, bigas pa lang ‘yon,” Robredo said on July 10 in a media briefing.
It will be noted that Robredo began broadcasting live on Facebook last year to deliver updates on their office’s activities. Robredo recently published a photo on Facebook that appeared to be crudely photoshopped in pink, as well as another one of him selling fish at the market.
