The Vice President also went to Kabankalan City in the province of Negros Occidental. The city was left submerged in floodwater by Odette. Currently, the province is in a state of calamity over the impacts of the typhoon in the area.

The Vice President was with her close-in security who tested positive for COVID-19 before his result was out. She stressed that it is hard for her because she wants to do her rounds but she also has to be responsible in following the protocols so she immediately went under quarantine as soon as she got the information about her close-in security.

According to Vice President Leni Robredo, they already have a lot of plans so her team just told her to think about her quarantine as a “forced break”. She is asking the public for prayers for her and her team.
