Honest Grandpa Earns Praises Online After Returning Lost Cash to Respective Owner
ACT OF HONESTY – An honest grandpa kindly returned the lost cash he found to its respective owner in Davao del Sur.
Nowadays, we can rarely see people showing an act of honesty due to selfishness and increase of wickedness. A lot of people are already thinking about themselves and ignoring the important things in life.
However, there are still some individuals who can prove that honesty remains alive and the faith in humanity is restored.
A Facebook account Police Senior Master Sergeant Henry Abarcar, RNG DAVAO has shared the photos of an honest grandpa who returned the lost cash he found to the owner. The post earned praises and admiration from the netizens.
The elderly man from Digos City found a bag containing about P36, 649 at Sitio Calamuhoy, Barangay Kapatagan, Digos City in Davao del Sur. The 62-year-old grandpa has been identified as Rosito Laranjo.
The bag owner expressed his gratitude towards the grandpa for returning his lost cash. Laranjo is just working as a farmer but choose to observe honesty despite his situation in life.
Digos City police duty tourist Police Senior Master Sergeant Henry Abarcar said that the online community lauded Laranjo for his honesty.

Isang Lolo na taga Digos nagbalik ng 36,000 na kanyang napulot sa kalsada.
Lolong magsasaka sa Digos City, sinauli ang nakitang mahigit P36,000 cash
Isinauli ng isang lolo ang nakitang malaking halaga ng pera sa Sitio Calamuhoy, Barangay Kapatagan, Digos City, Davao del Sur, Sabado ng umaga.
Nakita ng magsasaka na si Rosito Laranjo, 62, ang bag na may laman na P36,649 matapos umanong mahulog sa kalsada.
Inihatid ni Laranjo ang pera sa himpilan ng pulisya sa Barangay Kapatagan.
Laking tuwa ng may-ari dahil naibalik sa kanya ang pera at nagpasalamat kay Laranjo.
Ayon kay Police Senior Master Sergeant Henry Abarcar, duty tourist police ng Digos City police, matapos niyang i-post sa social media ang katapatang nagawa ng magsasaka, bumuhos ang papuri at tulong para kay Laranjo.”
