Ogie Diaz talked about his friendship with Aiko Melendez
Comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz shared this funny story that happened when actress Aiko Melendez had a fight with her former partner actor Jomari Yllana.
Ogie and Aiko have been friends since the 1990s when both of them were still single and until now they have their own children, they remained close friends. In a recent Showbiz Update vlog of Ogie, it was revealed that he is now the manager of Aiko.
“Nakiusap si Aiko kung pwede ko siya i-manage,” Ogie Diaz shared adding that he has been saying that the two celebrities who are really close to his heart are Aiko Melendez and Paolo Contis.
The comedian-talent manager said that his love for Aiko and Paolo has been consistent over the years. Ogie mentioned that ever since the Bubble Gang days of Aiko, they were already close to each other. “Inaanak ko yung mga anak niya, inaanak din niya mga anak ko. So, ganoon kalalim ang aming friendship,” he said.
Then, the comedian-talent manager shared the funny story of the time when Aiko had a fight with Jomari when they were still together. Ogie said that he will never forget this incident when the actress went to his house. At that time, Ogie was still single.
“Nandoon siya sa bahay ko, umiiyak. Nag-away sila ni Jomari,” he said. At that time, Aiko rode on her Mercedes Benz and asked Ogie if she could sleep there because she was avoiding Jomari.
The talent manager told the actress to go home because he will be the one who can’t sleep. “Hay naku! Ako ang hindi mo patutulugin Aiko, ‘no?” Ogie said adding that it was okay for him that the actress would sleep in his house but the thing that was not okay was the fact that her car was parked just outside the house.
“Ako hindi makakatulog dahil babantayan ko ‘yang kotse mo. Mercedez Benz yan no, wala namang parking dito,” Ogie Diaz shared what he said to Aiko Melendez.
