Politicians Do MMA Fight In Ring To Resolve Disputes
POLITICIANS FIGHT IN THE RING – The world of politics is filled with tension and drama. However, instead of settling disputes in the court, two politicians took it to the ring.
In Brazil, the mayor of Borba Simão Peixoto, and former councilor, Erinue Alves Da Silva faced exchanged some polarizing words. For one, the former councilman publicly said that he wasn’t a big fan of the mayor’s leadership.
On Facebook, the irate Da Silva posted a video challenging the mayor to face him. As a response, the mayor said that he’s not a street fighter but a leader of the Municipality of Borba.
But, he emphasized that if he wanted to fight, he was always ready to fight and that he was always a winner. And, following up on their word, the two finally met in the ring.
In the fight footage, the two exchanged heavy blows, punches, and kicks. Clearly, both took a bit of damage. But, after a brutal three-round fight, Peixoto, the mayor, was declared the winner
However, the crowd was not pleased with the results. In the video, you could see the ex-councilman getting the best out of the fight. And, the crowd noticed it too.
“The mayor took such a beating his jaw dropped”, a local media outlet reported. Meanwhile, Peixoto said that he took up the challenge to encourage more Brazilians to do MMA.
