Motorcycle Rider Hit Cyclist Who Cross Ignoring Go Light Elicits Reactions Online

Video footage showing a motorcycle rider crashed after he hit a “kamote” cyclist who ignores the go light signal goes viral online.

Motorcycle riders and cyclists are frequently engaged in road accidents nowadays as a result of their “kamote,” or reckless method of driving down the road. Several videos have gone viral on social media, demonstrating how these careless riders cause accidents.

It generally results in the victims suffering injuries or even death. To prevent such incidents, the Philippine government has already implemented stronger laws and restrictions. Unfortunately, many irresponsible and reckless drivers continue to violate traffic laws.

Visor, a Facebook page, posted video footage captured by a motorcycle rider’s action camera. A biker gets captured on camera crossing the road on the wrong side of the road despite the “Green Light” or go signal being on.

The “kamote” cyclist can even be spotted riding without any protective gear to avoid an accident. As a result, the video’s owner, a motorcycle rider who can be seen accelerating, collided with the bicycle on the road.

The motorcycle rider, fortunately, is wearing a helmet and other protective gear. Fortunately, both are unharmed, and the footage shows that they only sustained minor injuries as a result of the event.

Meanwhile, the video became viral on social media after it was posted, eliciting a variety of responses from the online community. The biker was chastised on the internet for disobeying a minor traffic rule. On the other hand, the rider was blasted for speeding through an intersection.
