Luis Manzano is happy for his father’s newfound love
Actor-host Luis Manzano shared his advice to seasoned actress Cherry Pie Picache who is now currently in a relationship with his father Edu Manzano.
Cherry Pie and Edu are working together in the Kapamilya series Marry Me, Marry You that is the reason why it is inevitable that they will be spotted together. However, netizens noticed that there is something more than friendship between them because of their sweet photos that circulated online.
Following this, Edu confirmed that he and Cherry Pie are indeed dating now. In a previous interview, Luis Manzano was asked to react to the relationship of his father with the seasoned actress.
The actor-host said that he honestly did not see it coming. He was surprised but he said that he is happy for his father. Just recently, Luis answered the chat questions from Inquirer entertainment columnist Dolly Anne Carvajal about the relationship of Edu and Cherry Pie.
The columnist asked Luis if what advice he could give to his Tita Pie. “Just be how she is and enjoy the love,” the actor-host said. He also shared that when his father is in love, the seasoned actor is “focused and dedicated.”
When asked if he was ever torn between his mom Vilma Santos and his dad when they separated, Luis said that this never happened. “They may have separated as a couple, but not as my parents,” he said.
Meanwhile, when it comes to his wife Jessy Mendiola, Luis Manzano said that she is still the same before and after they got married. He considers himself lucky that he already knew Jessy even before they tied the knot, so there were no surprising discoveries for him. Previously, Jessy shared that they are planning now to have their first baby.
