Kapuso singer-actress Julie Anne San Jose shared her words of wisdom for those who are aspiring to make a career also in the entertainment industry.
The doors of showbiz have opened for Julie Anne several years ago and the industry has continued to embrace her over the years. With her hard work and determination, she was able to reach the star status that she has now.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, she was asked what she would say to her fans who want to follow in her footsteps in showbiz. She said that she would gladly encourage them.
Julie Anne San Jose shared that she went through a lot of difficulties as a performer but she knows that she can’t reach wherever she is now if she let herself succumb to those hardships.
“Success doesn’t just come to you—you have to seek it out and make it happen! There are no shortcuts to success,” the 27-year-old Kapuso star said. She also shared that showbiz aspirants should realize early on and accept the fact that starting a career in the entertainment industry is not easy.
However, as she has experienced, she also stressed that is it not impossible to make one’s dream come true with qualities like being patient, smart, and grounded.
“Don’t forget where your roots are, kasi sila ang foundation mo … sila ang bumuo sa ‘yo,” Julie Anne San Jose said. She also stressed that it is important not to forsake the people who supported and love her throughout her journey. “Always create new things, and be open to possibilities,” the singer-actress added.
Meanwhile, Julie Anne is set to have the final leg of her Limitless documentary concert trilogy. Through this, she has showcased the beautiful places in the Philippines while sharing her music and her life.
