Man Identified as Fake MTPB Enforcer Arrested for Selling Government Stickers

Authorities arrested a man who was discovered as a fake Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB) enforcer for selling government stickers.

The Manila Police Department (MPD) apprehended a guy acting as an MTPB employee on Friday. According to the story, the culprit was apprehended after being caught in the act in Manila.

The suspect was apprehended about 6:45 a.m., according to P/Lt. Col John Guiagui,in the Sta. Cruz while selling MTPB and Manila City Hall stickers. The culprit, named Dodgie Garcia, allegedly charged P200 for the abovementioned stickers, which he sold to truck and tricycle drivers.

According to Guiagui, the suspect’s market strategy for individuals who sold stickers was that as long as their vehicle had stickers, they would not be detected. They did not, however, avoid being apprehended by the authorities.

It was also discovered that the suspect was a former MTPB employee who was sacked due to his method of negotiating impounded vehicles for the purpose of embezzlement. The suspect rejects the charge, claiming that he bought the sticker for P50 from Recto and sold it for P200 per piece.

Meanwhile, an employee of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Lucena City was arrested after caught selling fake driver’s license. The suspect reportedly sought money in exchange for a phony driver’s license, which led to his detention.

The suspect was identified as Liaison Officer of the LTO-Lucena City district office. After accepting the boodle money, police promptly launched an operation, and the perpetrator was apprehended. He has already been arrested and is being held at the Candelaria Municipal Police Station.
