Here’s why John Lloyd Cruz chose Palawan to move to while on showbiz break.
JOHN LLOYD CRUZ – New Kapuso actor John Lloyd Cruz shares the reason why he chose to move to El Nido, Palawan while he was on hiatus.
In a previous article, A-list actor John Lloyd officially joins the Kapuso network. This marks his official comeback to the show business industry after many years of being on hiatus. He is now being managed by Crown Artist Management, a company owned by Maja Salvador and her boyfriend Rambo Nunez.
Accordingly, one of his main goals now is to follow the path where there is work. He then added, “Nag-uugat sa pagtulong sa isang grupo na malapit sa puso ko.”
During his hiatus in the show business to “unlearn” the things he has acquired in showbiz, he accordingly chose and decided to stay in El Nido, Palawan. He chose the place as his place of refuge and healing. He’s been into different places but he found El Nido enchanting and the place he needed to be for his healing.
He said, “Para kang binabalot ng hiwaga ng lugar eh. Kahit sabihin mong kung saan-saan kang dako ng mundo ka nakakarating eh, nandito lang pala oh, isang lipad lang ‘yung katumbas.”
Meanwhile, John Lloyd has finally started shooting his first project as a Kapuso artist, a sitcom. In an interview with Jessica Soho, he also opened up about how he was discovered when he was just 13 years old way back in 1997. He was discovered by Regie Picayo at Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall in Cainta. And if he had not become an actor, he must have probably fulfilled his ambition to become a pilot.
