Janine Gutierrez makes revelations about her leading men
Kapamilya actress Janine Gutierrez called her Marry Me, Marry You leading men Paulo Avelino and Jake Ejercito “bullies”, however, she also revealed this good thing about the actors.
This teleserye is Janine’s first-ever project in ABS-CBN. She is happy that she is working with Paulo in the romantic series because they already had a foundation as they already did a movie before this, based on the article in Bandera.
“I’m super happy talaga, sinabi ko talaga kay Pau na I’m happy na he did this show with me kasi talagang winish ko ito before pa nu’ng ginawa namin yung pelikula namin,” the actress said during a recent virtual media conference.
Then, she also revealed how it was working with Paulo and Jake on the set. Janine Gutierrez said that Paulo Avelino is fond of making her “asar”. She also set that Jake Ejercito also has this kind of trait but she is happy that they are giving her delight through food.
“Nu’ng ginawa namin yung pelikula hindi pa masyadong bully si Paulo. Pero dito sa show talagang lumabas yung tunay niyang pagkatao. Char! Ha-hahaha! Masaya. Super, super saya talaga to work with Pau and Jake kasi palagi nila kaming pinapakain and pagdating sa mga eksena nagtutulungan kami,” the actress shared.
She added that this is what she discovers about her two leading men. “Pero yun talaga yung pinakana-discover ko, talagang ang hirap talunin ni Paulo sa pang-aasar. Si Jake bully din,” Janine reiterated.
On the other hand, she appreciates the effort of the actors to bring food on the set always. Janine Gutierrez also said that she would love to see her leading man getting “pikon” but she can’t beat him. It is known to many fans of Janine and Paulo that they would sometimes exchange “asaran” on Twitter. Meanwhile, Janine and Paulo are set to do a series of shows in the U.S. next year.
