Confused Man Receives 2 Different Vaccines Within 1 Day
A man in Zamboanga City received two different brands of COVID-19 vaccines at a vaccination site within a day.
The Philippine government has been implementing stricter quarantine guidelines and health safety protocols to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus disease in the country, which affects millions of people around the world.
The coronavirus disease does not only affect the public’s health but also causes a negative impact to the global economy leading the government to take necessary actions to reduce its effect.
The Department of Health has started to vaccinate people a few months ago to boost the public’s immune system. The vaccine could help the people prevent serious health problems due to COVID-19 virus.
However, people should observe proper procedure in receiving the vaccines to avoid health complications.
Recently, a male recipient with no idea regarding the process of anti COVID-19 shots received two doses of different brands on the same day. He got confused along the queue of first and second dose at the vaccination site.
He initially receive AstraZeneca and proceed to another line for the second dose. The guy submitted his vaccination card to a staff and received his second dose right away. The latter immediately received Sinovac right after receiving his first shot.
Luckily, the resident is stable and did not feel anything. Zamboanga City health office advised the man not to report to work for few days.
