Bongbong Marcos Camp Called Another Petition Filed vs Him “Nuisance”

Disqualification Petition Against Bongbong Marcos is “Nuisance” – Marcos Camp

The camp of presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. said that the new disqualification petition filed against him is a “nuisance.”

Marcos’ spokesman and lawyer, Vic Rodriguez, criticizes the new petition seeking to disqualify the presidential contender. Rodriguez claimed that the purportedly communist frontliners have filed yet another “nuisance” petition with the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

“As anticipated, the saga of those pushing for gutter politics continues with another nuisance petition filed before the Comelec (Commission on Elections) by some alleged communist frontliners,”

These petitions, he claims, are cheap political ploys by those who do not want the country to move forward and out of the pandemic. Those individuals, he continued, refuse to advance political discourse and instead engage in dirty campaigning, character assassination, and mudslinging.

Rodriguez further stated that the Comelec lacks the authority to examine, revise, or reject the Court of Appeals’ ruling. He emphasized that elections are fought and won at the ballot box on election day. And polls of the electorate, often known as polls of the electorate, are an assessment of the candidates’ position and a guide to winning the electorate.

“For Presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos and the BBM-SARA Uniteam, this election is all about the future, the future of every Filipino, and the future of our beloved country,” he said.

Meanwhile, Marcos had previously stated that he had no plans to withdraw his presidential run. This is despite petitions from several groups and individuals trying to have his COC revoked or rejected on the grounds of suspected “false material representation” stemming from the former senator’s tax evasion case, in which he was convicted in 1995.
