Caloocan Police Chief Orders Probe vs Cop Who Gives Violation Ticket for Wearing Short Shorts
The police chief of Caloocan City has ordered a probe against the cop who apprehended a woman for wearing short shorts in public.
PCol. claims that A police officer, Samuel Mina, chief of police in Caloocan City, made a mistake when he issued a ticket to a woman for the length of her shorts. He said the officer involved in the event misunderstood the city’s dress code in public areas ordinance.

Shorts are not prohibited in the city, according to the police head. He explained that the dress rule only applies to garments worn within churches and public marketplaces, particularly by vendors.
The police chief went on to say that the officer who issued the ticket infraction is also being investigated. If law enforcement officers continue to write up tickets for infractions of the dress code, the police chief recommended people to file a complaint with the Caloocan City police station.
Meanwhile, the woman who received a violation ticket expresses her displeasure to cops who would repeat the incident in the future. She stated that the issue that police should concentrate on is those who take advantage of women’s fashion and those who are impolite on the street.
Carmina, a woman named Carmina, was cited for wearing short shorts on Monday and expressed her displeasure. When she left the house to deliver supplies to a customer, she was issued a warning ticket by a police officer. She expressed relief at the Caloocan City police’s clarification.
