Donnalyn Bartolome Fullfill Rastaman’s Dream of Campaigning
DONNALYN BARTOLOME – Youtuber Donnalyn Bartolome decided to fulfill Rastaman’s dream of feeling how to be a candidate after he was disqualified from running.
Donnalyn Bartolome is known in the Philippines as the Social Media Goddess. She’s one of the most successful Youtubers in the country.
Currently, the 27-year-old vlogger has 8.3 million subscribers. Every video she uploads, if not viral, it has had millions of views. She has earned a lot of money due to her talent and hardwork as a singer and vlogger.
On November 2, Donnalyn Bartolome uploaded the Filipino version of Netflix’s hit K-drama ‘Squid Game’ on her Youtube Channel. She and her friends try out the games featured in the survival drama with a Pinoy twist, minus the killing.
The influencer didn’t just get a random group of friends. She assembled lookalikes for her version of the tv series. True to the show, she, MNL48 Coleen, Paul Salas, Marvin “Bhie” Fojas, Richard Juan, Baron Geisler, Ghostwrecker, and Rastaman wore green tracksuits and staff wore red outfits.

After her Filipino version of Squid Game, Donnalyn Bartolome reunited with Rastaman. She decided to fulfill his dream of campaigning. Rastaman, also known as Rolando Plaza, was disqualified from the senatorial race after he was considered a “nuisance candidate.”
His popularity spread online. His animated personality and facial tattoos quickly went viral. When asked what he was going to do in the Senate, he sang a popular song and added his own adlib: “Ang motorcycle ko may pakpak yo! Half human, half zombie, yo!”
In the vlog, Donnalyn Bartolome prepared his needs for his “campaign.” She prepared tarpaulins, car and they even handed out choclolates as they toured. She said she’s also encouraging him to vlog so that he can have a source of income.
