Are you willing to be on an island with Paolo Contis “as a friend”?
Bubble Gang stars Valeen Montenegro and Arny Ross were asked if they are willing to be on an island with co-star Paolo Contis but “as a friend” only.
Paolo, Baguio, and the phrase “as a friend” became trending topics on social media at the same time. It happened after the actor admitted that it was him and his A Faraway Land leading lady Yen Santos who were in a viral video that was taken in the summer capital of the Philippines.
He went to Baguio after he and his former partner LJ Reyes broke up and the latter went to New York. However, the actor clarified that Yen was only there because he invited her as a friend.
In a recent episode of Kapuso talk show Mars Pa More, Valeen and Arny were asked if they are willing to be with Paolo Contis on an island. Valeen said that she wants to be stuck on an island with Paolo.
Arny also said that she does not mind if that happens, based on the article in Manila Bulletin. “Maraming maituturo sa akin ‘yang si Kuya Pao,” she said.
Meanwhile, in a recent article, it was stated that Paolo is not used to having that kind of attention on social media. He stressed that he wanted to be criticized for his acting project and not for the personal aspect. The actor also said that if he will be praised, he wanted it also to be about his acting project because after all, he is an actor by profession. On the other hand, he understands that being controversially bashed online is part of their job.
