Vilma Santos shared that she is looking forward to doing this
Actress-turned-politician Vilma Santos, now that she is 68 years old, revealed that she is still dreaming to do this thing.
Vilma is one of the most successful actresses in the Philippine entertainment industry. She also has a successful career in politics even though she decided to take a break from the political arena. The Star For All Season is currently serving as the representative of the 6th District of Batangas.
Behind all her achievement in showbiz and politics, Ate Vi, as what she is fondly called, still has one thing she really wants to do in the future, based on the article in The Philippine Star.
For her 68th birthday, she received this question: “You have practically everything in your life. Is there something else that you want to do or prove?”
The initial answer of Vilma Santos was that there is nothing that she could ask more. Her constant prayer is the guidance from the Lord in order for her to make good decisions for her family and her constituents.
“It gives me satisfaction when someone thinks of me and considers me in their thoughts. I hope that one day I will be able to give back to those who’ve helped me along the way,” she said.
However, the actress-politician said that she has been dreaming to do one thing and she is hoping she can do this in the future.
“One thing which I want to do someday is to direct a movie. Matagal ko na pinapangarap ‘to. I hope to be given a chance to fulfill this dream one of these days,” Vilma Santos said.
Meanwhile, Vilma received a sweet birthday greeting from her fellow seasoned actress Sharon Cuneta.
