Recently, Bongbong Marcos Jr.’s camp reacted to the petition filed against his bid for president in 2022. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, BBM’s spokesperson Vic Rodriguez called the petition “outrageous” claiming that there is really no case against the former Senator. According to him, they are waiting for the official copy from Comelec and as well as the official notification from the poll body.

The camp of the former Senator further said that they don’t want to engage in gutter politics with the “yellow wannabe”. Based on the report, he tagged the petition as an “old yellow narrative containing the old yellow political attacks”. After his statement, the spokesperson of Marcos Jr. admitted that he has yet to read the petition filed against the former Senator’s presidential bid.

Rodriguez stressed that he does not care to read the said petition but he wants to secure an official copy from the government.
