The father of Sam Milby passed away
Actor-singer Sam Milby mourns the death of his father, Lloyd William Milby, and his Instagram post about this received reactions from his girlfriend Catriona Gray and other celebrities.
Through his recent post on the photo-sharing social media platform, the actor made this sad announcement. He shared a photo showing that he was holding the hand of his father and apparently, the actor was in his hometown Ohio.
Based on the article in PEP, the father of the actor died at the age of 86. It can be recalled that during a media conference in 2018 for his series Halik, Sam Milby mentioned that he was born when his father was already 49 years old. The actor is now 37 years old.
In Sam’s IG account, it can be seen that during the holiday season in 2020, Sam visited his parents in Ohio. On November 3, Philippine time, the actor posted his final goodbye to his father. He simply captioned his post with: “Rest in peace dad…. love you.”
Catriona Gray commented on this with a promise. “Always standing with you in prayer,” the Miss Universe 2018 said. Aside from the beauty queen, a lot of celebrities also showed sympathy for this sad chapter in the life of the actor.
Actresses Bea Alonzo and Judy Ann Santos, along with TV host Bianca Gonzalez expressed their condolences. Actor Jericho Rosales and comedienne Moi Bien sent their virtual hugs for Sam while singer Erik Santos and comedian-host Allan K commented with praying hand emojis. Broadway star Lea Salonga said, “Oh no, I’m so sorry, Sam… sincerest condolences to you and yours.” Actress KC Concepcion commented with this: “my family and I send our deepest condolences samuel. until you meet again”
